WHERE IS CNU 28.A VIRTUAL GATHERING BEING HELD?

In your home! CNU 28.A Virtual Gathering (also known as the Congress) will be held virtually in 2020.

WHAT REGISTRATION OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

CNU offers a range of registration options, including single and multi-day passes, with discounted registration options available for members, students, recent graduates, nonprofit and government employees, and international attendees. Visit our website for more information.

HOW DO I EXHIBIT AT CNU 28?

CNU will have a virtual exhibit option. Check back soon for more details.

HOW CAN I SPONSOR CNU 28.A VIRTUAL GATHERING?

Congress sponsorship is available at all levels. The deadline to sign up is May 25, 2020. Visit our sponsorship page for more information.

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR A DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION?

Discounted pricing is available for students, recent graduates, nonprofit and government employees, and international attendees. Proof of qualification (course schedule, business card, student ID, etc.) may be required.
 
Additionally, CNU offers special rates for qualifying members. To qualify for member registration prices, your CNU Urbanist membership must be valid through June 2020. If you are not a member and would like to become one you may either visit our website for more information and join online, or select the member option and pay for membership during the registration process. If you would like to upgrade your Advocate membership to qualify for Congress member rates, please contact Scott Shields at 312-551-7300 x700. CNU will verify membership status on June 1, 2020 and contact anyone registered at the member rate who does not have a valid membership. Anyone who does not have a valid membership on June 10 will be restricted from accessing the live CNU 28 content.  

WHAT ARE ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT?

CNU accepts payment in the form of check, wire transfer, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). Funds must be in US Dollars. Offline registrations available on request. Checks should be made payable to CNU.

For accounting purposes, the CNU Federal Tax ID number is 65-0483737.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION?

Online registrations will receive an email confirmation upon completion of their registration. Email confirmations will be sent to the email address used to set up the online account. Please check your spam folder if you haven't received a confirmation email within a few hours of registering.

ARE YOU OFFERING CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS?

Yes. CNU will apply for AIA, AICP, and LACES continuing education credits for Congress sessions and events. Additionally, Congress sessions are pre-approved for CNU-Accreditation continuing education credit approved. To learn more, visit our continuing education page. Credits will be posted as they are approved.

ARE YOU OFFERING SCHOLARSHIPS?

Yes, in an effort to expand participation and bring in new voices, CNU will offer a select number of 4-day Congress registration scholarships. For more information, please visit our scholarship page.

DO YOU ALLOW FOR SUBSTITUTIONS, CANCELLATIONS, OR REFUNDS?

Individuals who registered prior to April 20, 2020 for CNU 28.Twin Cities may request a substitution, cancellation, or refund before May 25, 2020 by completing the CNU 28 Request Form

Individuals who register after April 20, 2020 for CNU 28.A Virtual Gathering may request a registration registration substitution or refund, minus a $100 administrative fee, on or before May 25, 2020. Please contact Kelly Moran by email to request a refund.

No refunds of any kind will be issued for requests received after May 25, 2020. Substitutions may be made at any time without penalty.
