Learn how plans such as the L'Enfant Plan for DC, the 1811 plan for Manhattan, and the Oglethorpe Plan for Savannah have shaped these cities through centuries of change, and why this tool was abandoned by cities in the middle of the 20th Century. And yet this tool is highly relevant today for infill, greenfield, and retrofit development.
