CNU’s education platform for design and planning education is created especially for local officials. We provide tools, education, networking opportunities, and support for strengthening and activating the public realm in neighborhoods, downtowns, and suburbs.
Our educational platform leverages the lessons we have learned over 25 years of placemaking, tapping the collective expertise of more than 2,000 members who work in urban design, architecture, transportation, engineering, civic engagement, government, and planning. We focus on what works in designing and building walkable, lovable communities of enduring value. Our experience, combined with local leaders’ knowledge and vision, creates powerful results in cities and towns.
