Ute Maya-Giambattista

My name is Ute, and I am an urban designer working in Canada helping communities unlock their potential and transform the vitality of their places.

I believe that urban design can be a vehicle for creating healthy places and communities. Beyond being a “nice” picture, good urban design results in a carefully calibrated, economically viable design solution or vision that enhances the community’s environmental, and social context for years to come.
