Description:

The Capital Area Council of Governments seeks a Senior Planner who will focus on regional and community planning issues related to land use, availability of natural resources, transportation, and economic development to support and assess regional policy and planning strategies. The position coordinates with other regional organizations and communities in the Central Texas area to plan and assess regional growth management strategies. The work consists of conducting research, analyzing data and information, and directing GIS activities to support project reports and recommendations.We provide a friendly, supportive workplace with focus on providing outstanding customer service to our internal and external customers.
