Fairview Village

Fairview, Oregon

Built in a suburb of Portland, Fairview Village is designed as a compact neighborhood, including houses with porches and stoops facing the street. Small parks are strategically placed throughout the development, and the streets are designed for walking and bicycling. The 93-acre development includes a mix of single houses, rowhouses, and apartments built among retail, office, and other civic facilities.

The civic component is particularly strong, including a city hall and public library, helping to create a heart for the surrounding suburban community. An elementary school is also connected to Fairview Village. A variety of shops, businesses, and services (approximately 15) are available on Village main street and Market Drive. A Target store is on the edge of the development and is walkable to village houses.
