Our studio is an exciting environment where we focus on a broad range of projects including Complete Streets and active transportation, streetscapes, master plans, corridor planning, parks and recreation design, and private development. We are actively engaged internally with Stantec’s Urban Places Group and the company’s Complete Streets team; and we actively work with offices throughout the country.

Stantec’s Planning & Landscape Architecture Studio in Atlanta, Georgia, is growing and is in need of a Landscape Architect/Urban Designer. Our Atlanta market is growing and we are looking for highly talented individuals to help shape the future of our studio! The ideal candidate will be working on a variety of private, public, non-profit, and federal landscape architecture/urban design projects.  The candidate will be engaged in all aspects of project delivery from concept design through construction administration.   The candidate is expected to think at a broad level on certain projects as well as detail design providing holistic and realistic solutions. Our studio is very focused on collaboration, interdisciplinary design, and client engagement. The intent is to develop and grow the career of the candidate and provide them with career opportunities to grow within a dynamic and ever changing design environment. The successful candidate will also be required to seek additional projects, develop project work plans and support business development.

Qualifications

  • Registered Landscape Architect with a minimum of 4 years’ experience (Masters degree in urban design, urban planning, or a similar degree is preferred).
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, Land FX, GIS, and Sketch up is required.
  • CLARB registration, LEED certification, GSWCC Level II Certification, and AICP certification is a plus.
