Coordinates project design, develops creative design concepts for projects, and prepares presentation and design drawings. Certification as a licensed professional is required.

Responsibilities

• Works independently on architectural design projects.
• Often coordinates project design efforts.
• Prepares presentation and design drawings and details.
• Substantial experience in providing planning and design support in the preparation of design development.
• Written and verbal communication with clients, engineers and architects.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Five to ten years of experience in an architectural firm.
• Required Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program
• Required Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in BIM (ArchiCAD a major plus) + rendering/modeling/graphic experience. Experience with multi-family residential planning/design is preferred.
• Working Conditions: Typical office environment. Occasional long hours to meet deadlines. Occasional visits to construction sites.
