Description
The City of Pittsburgh’s Department of City Planning (DCP) is pleased to announce that the Request for Proposals for the Pilot Process for Reuse, Reinvestment, and Revitalization in Pittsburgh's Hill District has been issued as of December 13, 2023, and will be available until January 12, 2024. This consultant will work on the development of a vacant property strategy and a community engagement strategy for implementation in the Hill District, with a focus on stabilization and preservation, rather than demolition, of distressed and historically overlooked structures. These strategies will be used to inform how we engage communities and how we prioritize vacant properties for stabilization in all neighborhoods throughout the City of Pittsburgh. DCP has received a Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) Keystone Grant for partial funding of the project.
