Director of Construction

Salary: $90K - $120K/yr

Job Summary
The Wintz Company is looking to hire a Director of Construction to lead our construction team, oversee other project managers and organize key business operations. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that shares Wintz Company's vision to build with purpose and style. The applicant should have tenured construction experience with specific experience in residential production housing, working as a project manager with proven leadership skills.

Our main project is Woodbury which is a new urbanist neighborhood development that consists of 300 lots. The product types include a large number of single family lots along with a number of townhomes and commercial/mixed use buildings intertwined with parks and amenities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage 20 homes per year
• Manage projects and ongoing infrastructure developments
• Hire and manage a team of Project Managers and superintendents
• Oversee purchasing and budgets
• Seek advantageous vendor relationships for Wintz Company
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Provide value engineering reviews of project documents
• Complete projects on time and on-budget
• Manage financial progress reporting on projects

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years production housing experience or 5+ years of multi-family experience along with some residential experience
• Project Manager experience
• Proven leadership skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Construction management software experience preferred
