Civil Engineering Intern

Overview:

Crabtree Group, Inc. is a small civil engineering firm that is very strong at providing superior sustainable civil engineering that supports the goals and plans of New Urbanism. We are committed to innovation, community activism, and very personalized service. We reside in exemplary walkable communities that have much to offer outside the work place. We are offering short-term (one to two months) paid internships as a service to the neophytes of the New Urbanism community. We are considering offering these internships one at a time on a year-round basis. 

Responsibilities:

You will work with a team of diverse professionals on civil engineering projects that utilize your core skills while exposing you to our work environment and business networks.

Qualifications:

New or soon-to-be college graduates in planning, architecture, landscape architecture, or engineering. Self-starter with good oral and written communication skills. You should have a keen interest in implementing walkable urbanism, and demonstrated experience in hand drawing, AutoCAD, GIS, Photoshop, Excel, SketchUp, hydrology software, or Revit. We are looking for individuals who can bring their particular skill(s) to contribute to project production, to learn, and to experience.

Salary and Benefits:

The pay for this internship is $15/hour and may include boarding at our Work/Live office.
