After all the twists and turns and unexpected events of 2016, I’m ending this year the exact same way I started it: full of hope and gratitude.

A redesign for the obsolete 1956 Buffalo Skyway addresses multiple community goals: enhancing mobility, promoting economic development, creating jobs, and reimagining the possibilities of Buffalo’s waterfront.

Design strategies alone won’t ensure that good urban design, land use, and public spaces will be accessible and equitable. Communities are figuring out solutions, and they are outlined in a new CNU report.
