Rosemary Beach, a traditional neighborhood development (TND) under construction in South Walton County, Florida, has received a strong sales response to the six live/work sites recently placed on the market. Buyers have committed to purchase five of the sites and are finalizing usage agreements, and one unit is under construction. The Rosemary Beach Land Company has been able to choose the merchants which will occupy the buildings. Live/work buildings will comprise a majority of the total commercial activity in Rosemary Beach. The live/work sites will be two- and three-story mixed-use buildings which combine commercial uses on the first floor with residential and/or office spaces on the second and third floors. Design features include a second floor balcony, with a more private, optional third floor balcony. Twelve-foot wide brick sidewalks and arcades encourage pedestrian traffic and connect the town center to the rest of Rosemary Beach.
