Most dangerous intersections

This is a list of the most dangerous intersections in each state. It is also a list of heavily engineered, "big asphalt" intersections in road networks that are built to modern transportation engineering standards. For many of these intersections, Usain Bolt would have no trouble getting across before the light changed. Other folks, not so much.

Instead of grids that disperse traffic, these roads funnel traffic onto large thoroughfares, meeting at even bigger intersections. The traffic speed, crossing distances, and the complexity of the intersections create the conditions for fatal and injury accidents. Are these intersections pedestrian friendly? Does a bear use a latrine?
