2011 Charter Awards call for entries

The Congress for the New Urbanism is seeking submissions for the 2011 Charter Awards, its annual juried awards program recognizing outstanding design, development, and policy achievements that embody the principles of the Charter of the New Urbanism (cnu.org/charter) and expand understanding of their role in transforming communities for the better.

Awards are invited across the Charter’s three scales, from broad regions to individual blocks and buildings. Chairing this year’s jury will be CNU cofounder Elizabeth Moule, Principal of Moule & Polyzoides, Architects and Urbanists, Pasadena, California. Submissions must be shipped to CNU by January 12, 2011.  See the cnu.org/awards for more details.
