The Bloomfield, Michigan, Township Board
ROBERT STEUTEVILLE    JAN. 1, 2001
The Bloomfield, Michigan, Township Board of Trustees unanimously rejected plans for Bloomfield Park proposed by developer Craig Schubiner of Harbor Companies. The master plan by Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company called for 1,000 apartments mixed with upscale retail, entertainment, and office space on 80 acres. Trustees refused to modify township zoning ordinances to accommodate the high-rise buildings in the plan.
