![Local advocates were able to convince Comerica Bank to abandon their plans to build a slightly-modified version of their usual bank branch design (with some token allowances for an urban setting) in a classic "Main Street" setting in Fort Worth's classic streetcar neighborhood, the Near Southside. Instead, Comerica hired a local architect to design this far more sensitive, far more urban two-story design to fit its context, with all parking either on-street or to the rear (and thoroughly screened).
