Staffing at the CNU office is going

Staffing at the CNU office is going through a major transition. Andy Shafer, who was CNU’s second employee, is now working independently. CNU thanks him gratefully for his seven years handling CNU’s finances, visual identity, and day-to- day management. Sarah Pulleyblank has managed CNU’s task forces since 1999, while conducting research on transportation, codes, and other topics, along with organizing the Portland Congress. She, too, is moving on. CNU thanks her for her diligent service. The CNU Board of Directors is also losing a member, Harvey Gantt, who is retiring from the board after four years of service. He will continue to work full time as an architect in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he once served as mayor. CNU has been in the news a lot lately. So far this year, major coverage has included the Los Angeles Times, ABCNews.com, the Vancouver Sun, the San Antonio Express-News, and the Baltimore Sun.
