City of Bellevue, WA

Location:

Bellevue, Washington

RFQ Description:

The City of Bellevue is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ’s) from qualified firms for the Grand Connection Visioning Study.  The City will be accepting SOQ’s until the close of business on January 20th, 2016.  Interested firms should submit their SOQ’s or any questions via email to Bradley Calvert – Community Development Program Manager, at bcalvert@bellevuewa.gov or phone at 425.452.6930.

The Grand Connection will be a pedestrian oriented, non-motorized corridor that begins on the shores of Lake Washington at Meydenbauer Bay Park, connects through Downtown Bellevue and ultimately interfaces with the regional multi-use Eastside Rail Corridor.  It is envisioned as a unique and defining urban design experience.  The scope of work will include establishing an overall urban design vision for the corridor, with special emphasis on a potential landmark connection across Interstate 405 connecting Downtown with the adjacent Wilburton neighborhood.

Click here for the attached Scope of Work for a full project description, submission guidelines, and consultant selection process.  The City of Bellevue looks forward to your response and is excited to embark on this exciting visioning process.

Sincerely,
Dan Stroh
