CNU 25 Session Proposals Open

Alex McKeag, Monday, September 19, 2016

Have you ever wanted to shape the annual Congress for the New Urbanism—to be a featured speaker, to lead a session, or to get your ideas onto the program? Now's your chance.

Today, we’re launching the official CNU 25.Seattle Call for Proposals. The process is simple: submit an idea for a session, tour, or workshop. You can share a fully outlined session proposal, or just an idea—a trending topic, a unique format, or a speaker you’d like to hear, even if you're nominating yourself.

At CNU 25.Seattle, we’re showcasing the future of urbanism—all the innovations in housing, transportation, tech, and placemaking being explored in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. It’s also a special moment in the history of CNU, as we look back over the first quarter-century of New Urbanism and ahead to what’s next. We're looking for sessions that capture the best ideas from across that spectrum: fundamental tenets, old ideas made new, new voices challenging the accepted wisdom.

Whatever you’re thinking, our Call for Proposals is the place to share it. No need to register—just submit. Once the call closes, our National Program Committee will select the best proposals and work with submitters to help turn their submissions into reality.

Submissions are open through Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Learn more about CNU 25.Seattle at
