Location: Costa Mesa, CA


Our company is in search of a self-directed and experienced Project Manager with a minimum 10 years of experience in mixed-use multi- family residential architecture with management and technical experience in all phases of design and production, including: conceptual, detail and design development, and construction documents. Candidate must exhibit strong organizational skills and be accustomed to working in a team environment with demanding schedules and deadlines. The ideal candidate possess the ability to create entitlement packages, to land plan for density studies, can take a project through all phases of design and construction, possesses expertise in building codes, regulations and all construction types, can develop technical construction documents and details, and is a self- starter with excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • 10+ years of relevant architecture and design experience, with a strong back ground designing multiple building typologies of varying scale with extensive experience in mixed-use multi-family residential architecture
  • Must possess extensive experience and knowledge about building codes and building systems
  • Skilled at multi-tasking, guiding large and diverse consultant teams and working toward multiple deadlines
  • Able to write contracts, and develop project budgets, schedules and specifications
  • Coordinate internal planning, design and technical teams with project consultants while keeping projects on target for budget and deadlines throughout all work phases
  • Responsible for carefully reviewing all documents for discovery, resolution, and correction of design, building code, and construction detailing before they are released to client and for construction to minimize legal risks and maximize protection of the firm as well as our client. Deficiencies shall be brought to attention of the Architectural Studio Manager in a timely manner
  • Responsible for marketing repeat clients by providing quality service and monitoring the quality of services
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize the tasks of client, architectural, and consultant teams
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with other key stakeholders
  • Must be able to lead, inspire, teach, and mentor others
  • Posses excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills


  • Architectural License is required
  • NCARB Licensed Architect in the State of California preferred
  • Advanced degree in Architecture or Design preferred, with a rigorous design education
