Registration is closed for this event

THERE ARE STILL A FEW SEATS AVAILABLE SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING, EMAIL DMILLER@CENTRALTEXASCNU.ORG OR CALL 512-971-3033 BY 5 PM ON 10/30/13.

Join CNU-CTX for a thought-provoking conversation with planning visionary Mitchell Silver on the value of planning and creative place-making, along with expert advice for Austin as the city rewrites its Land Development Code. Mr. Silver, Chief Planning & Development Officer for Raleigh, North Carolina and immediate past president of the American Planning Association, is an award-winning planner with over 28 years of public and private sector experience. He is internationally recognized for his leadership in the planning profession and his contributions to contemporary planning issues.

During the luncheon, we will explore if we are asking the right questions about what our towns and cities need to be in the future, particularly in light of the rapid growth of Central Texas. We will also examine the specific considerations that Austin needs to address as it rewrites its Land Development Code.

You can visit the CNU-CTX website at www.centraltexascnu.org for more information about the event and sponsorships levels and benefits.
