Become a CNU accredited professional to establish your knowledge and experience in New Urbanist practice.

To register for the CNU / University of Miami Accreditation Exam, you must be a current CNU Urbanist member in good standing. If you are a current CNU Urbanist member, complete the web form below, continue to the confirmation page and click submit to complete your CNU-A exam registration. Your payment is not complete until you reach the Thank You page and receive an email receipt. In order to register for the University of Miami course to prepare for the exam, visit their Course Registration page.

Additionally, before you register you will need to create a UM ID and CaneID. Your UMID (EMPLID) is required to log in for the exam, and you will be asked to enter it during this registration process. To create your ID, please follow the instructions found here. Follow the instructions at http://mredu.arc.miami.edu/docs/caneid.pdf to obtain your CaneID. Once obtained, visit myum.miami.edu and log in using your CaneID. Click on "View UM ID Number" in the right-hand column titled Personal and Biological Information, and copy/paste the UM ID here. The UM ID starts with the letter "C" and is an 8-digit number. It is required to gain access to the exam through the University of Miami website.
