Expertise

Watershed Sensitive Site Design

My professional interest and expertise is in development scale landscape architecture projects- a vestige of my private practice experience as a golf course architect and planner/designer of recreational parks. My current research interests include watershed sensitive design and development. Specifically, I'm interested in methods of recovering natural systems services on infill and retrofit sites through the application of NU planning and design principles. Like Philip Bess, I seek to apply traditional Christian core values to the task of enhancing the social, ecological, aesthetic and economic qualities of the built environment.
