Mr. Erfurt earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami School of Architecture in Coral Gables, Florida, and continued his study at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, where he earned a Master of Architectural Design and Urbanism. At Notre Dame he assisted several studios in South Bend and Rome in the introduction to the charrette process as a design tool, and how the process could be utilized as a tool to understand and emulate the context and understand underlying principles that shape existing towns. Mr. Erfurt is a member of the Congress for the New Urbanism, and a member of the Next Generation of the New Urbanism.
