Going away from the T6 Zone, the project becomes more residential and includes a diverse mix of townhouses, small lot single-family homes, courtyard homes, and intimate neighborhood parks.

This project is truly innovative development for the Atlanta region, where it not uncommon for historic cores to be less dense than the surrounding suburban sprawl,  because it advances regional planning policies and provides a model for other historic town centers that have lost their commercial core to suburban sprawl.

Through a combination of critical densities, quality open spaces, connectivity, compatible design and integration of uses, this project enhances the historic commercial core. The high degree of connectivity can be attributed to its system of streets, alleys and pedestrian pathways. Sidewalks, street trees, and lighting also contribute to the pedestrian-friendly streets.
