The goal of this design is to offer an array of academic interests and a centralized area for student life surrounded by a mixed-use space including professional schools and a hospital. The unique geometrical design of the New University will create a balanced environment of living and learning.

The Louisiana Speaks Regional Plan presents a bold regional vision and action plan for the Gulf Coast recovery efforts.The Plan is organized around three primary goals: Recover Sustainably, Grow Smarter, and Think Regionally. It details the elements of a sustainable recovery, and focuses on new growth in and around existing communities, linked to investments in protection infrastructure, regional transportation, and economic zones.
