After the City of Milwaukee created a plan to connect streets and blocks through 27 riverfront acres known as the Beerline, Mandel Group followed the Beerline design guidelines to create Trostel Square, one of seven Beerline Developments. Visible down Booth Street on the bluff is Roots Restaurant, designed by Kubala Washatko Architects. Trostel is designed by Engberg Anderson Architects. The development extends Milwaukee's Riverwalk, which has built values through public access to the riverfront.
