Charlotte- Eastland Mall RFQ
In its day, Eastland Mall was a thriving center of commerce and activity, anchoring Charlotte’s East Side. Over time, in the face of great competition, the Mall declined and eventually closed. Rather than let the property languish, the City stepped in to buy the 80.4-acre site and make it available for private redevelopment.
The City is now seeking to sell the Property to a development team. To allow maximum flexibility for private sector interest, the City of Charlotte plans a two-step approach beginning with a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), followed by the selection of a short-list of approved developers to respond to the more technical Request for Proposals (RFP).
Pre-Proposal Site Tour & Briefing: Wednesday, January 30, 2013 10:00 am to 1pm
