The City of Burleson seeks the services of a qualified professional consultant to update its recent award-winning Comprehensive Plan and draft a new Zoning Ordinance. Imagine Burleson was adopted in 2010 and progress has been made towards the goals and objectives under six key initiatives of Land Use, Complete Streets, Community Enhancement, Environmental Sustainability, Diversified Economy, and Urban Design. The zoning ordinance should utilize these goals and objectives as well as current and best planning practices, as well as provide for clarification and consistency, remove contradictions or obsolete regulations, incorporate graphic illustrations, as well as enhance customer’s ability to navigate the ordinance.
