The New CNU.org!

The Congress for the New Urbanism is excited to debut a new website that offers both CNU members and visitors more opportunites to learn about New Urbanism and stay connected to the new urbanist community. Read about the site's new features here and then view the simple member log-in instructions to get started.

My CNU (members-only)
My CNU is your member home page. Go here to check your membership status, renew your membership, update your contact information and privacy settings, and to get an overview of new member content on the site (including active discussions and member-related news). Use the quick links in the My CNU green Member menu to post content to the site or renew your membership. Check under NU on the Web for links to the latest New Urbanism-related content from elsewhere on the web.

CNU Salons
The CNU Salons are an exciting new community area where members participate in discussions on new urbanist topics. Comment on media stories about the movement and its strategies, share news about how New Urbanism is advancing in your community, ask for advice on a project, or debate hot topics in New Urbanism and help take the movement to the next level.

The salons are divided into various new urbanist categories. Members are free to post new salon conversations and comment on existing conversations. Non-member visitors may read only the top of a conversation, but are not able to read comments or post new conversations.

Member Profiles/Directory of New Urbanists
CNU's updated member profiles allow members to network with each other as well as advertise their services to visitors on the site through the Directory of New Urbanists. Non-member visitors can search for members and view only basic contact information and bios. CNU members are able to share additional profile information with other members. Your member profile will display your salon conversation posts and images you contribute to the image bank. You can adjust your privacy settings in My CNU under the Edit Account/Profile tab.
