Call for Ideas

CNU is looking for your input to make CNU XVII a success! Please offer us any session ideas and suggestions for improving the congress by filling out our survey. Click Here to take the survey.

Since hosting CNU VI in 1998, the Denver region has seen numerous new urbanist developments shaped by the CNU charter. CNU XVII will provide opportunities to experience how these new urbanist places live: the people, the spaces, and the buildings. We are looking for ideas that will challenge attendees to evaluate how the CNU Charter has shaped better neighborhoods and communities and created Convenient Remedies to urban sprawl.

We would like to hear your ideas for exploring the following tracks:

  • Myths and Lessons of New Urbanism
  • Transportation and Transit-Oriented Development
  • Urbanizing the Horizontal City
  • Designing and Investing in Public Infrastructure that
    Creates Value

  • Sustainability
  • Implementing New Urbanism

Deadline: Friday, August 15
