Where is CNU XVI being held?

What are the accepted forms of payment?
The accepted forms of payment are checks or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American express, discovery). Registrations must be accompanied by payment. Forms received without payment will not be processed. Funds must be in U.S. Dollars. Checks should be made payable to CNU. (For accounting purposes, the CNU Federal Tax ID number is 65-0483737.)
What is the early bird deadline?
The deadline for early registration is March 5, 2008. Registration forms must be faxed or postmarked by that date to qualify for the early registration rate. Web registrations must be entered by 12 midnight EST on March 5, 2008 to qualify.
When will I receive my registration confirmation?
All registrations will receive confirmation by e-mail within 5-7 business days. If you do not provide an e-mail address, a written confirmation will be mailed.
Is on-site registration available?
On-site registration will be available, although attendees are strongly encouraged
to register in advance. Not only do you save money by registering early, but
we cannot guarantee that registrations received after March 28, 2008 will be
processed or confirmed prior to the conference.
Onsite registration hours in the Palazzo area of the Austin Convention Center will be:
Wednesday April 2, 2008 3 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Thursday April 3, 2008 7 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday April 4, 2008 7 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Saturday April 5, 2008 7 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday April 6, 2008 9 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Where do I get my tickets and badges?
Paid sessions and some social events require tickets that will be distributed along with your badge at the conference registration desk. The registration desk will be located in the Palazzo lobby of the Austin Convention Center at the corner of Cesar Chavez and Trinity Streets. Name badges are required for admission to all sessions and tours.

Do you have one-day registration available?
Yes. You can purchase one-day registration tickets for Thursday, April 3 (New Urbanism 101 & Opening Session), and Friday, April 4 (Friday-Only Ticket). One-day registration tickets are NOT available for Saturday, April 5, or Sunday, April 6.
Can I attend the conference if I'm not a CNU member?
You can attend some ticketed sessions and events:
- Thursday sessions (includes all non-ticketed events)
- New Urbanism 202 Sessions
- Friday sessions (includes all non-ticketed events)
- Charter Awards Luncheon
- Saturday Night Party
- Tours
All other sessions and events require a CNU membership.
How do I get the member discount?
To qualify for the member registration price, your CNU membership must be valid until April 2008. If you are not a member and would like to become one, click here for membership information and to join online. You also have the option to add membership onto your CNU XVI registration when you register online.
Is there a student price?
Special student pricing is available. To qualify for student registration, a valid student ID or class registration must be provided.
What about substitutions, cancellations and refunds?
Substitutions for Conference Registration are accepted at any time without penalty but must be made in writing. Registration fees will be refunded less a $100.00 administration charge, if a refund request is received in writing at AHI (118 W. Church St., PO Box 519, Selbyville, DE 19975, Fax: 302-436-1911, email: convene@aol.com) before March 5, 2008. No refunds for registration fees will be issued for requests received after March 5, 2008, and the participant or sponsoring organization will be responsible for the fee.
