Camden N.J Light Rail Plans Finally On Track
Gov. Jon S. Corzine and a cadre of South Jersey legislators, transportation experts and planners unveiled an ambitious three-pronged plan Tuesday to expand mass transit from Camden into Gloucester County, loosen the gridlock on routes 42 and 55 and bring rail service to the Atlantic City Airport. Tuesday's announcement focused on the first leg -- an eight-mile light rail line from Camden to Woodbury with an estimated cost of $600 million.
