In three minutes or less, how compelling a case can you make a case for the health benefits of New Urbanism? That’s the challenge of the Congress of New Urbanism’s 2nd annual video contest. The winning entry will premier at CNU18, “New Urbanism: Rx for Healthy Places,” in Atlanta, May 19-22. And its creator will win a free pass to CNU 17.
Last year we asked filmmakers to create three-minute videos that demonstrated New Urbanism’s role in improving the environmental performance of communities. The results blew us away. Built to Last, the winner, was shown at the Congress and went on to have scores of mentions in online pubs and high-profile blogs. Its creators got a free pass to the Congress.
Now we’re doing it again, this time calling for videos that demonstrate the theme of CNU18, how New Urbanism can have positive effects on the health of people and places. All you – or your videomaking friends – need to know about the contest is here.
